These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made from CapyCraft (“we”, “us”, “our”). By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

General

All products are handmade and may have slight variations in colour, shape, or finish. These small differences are part of the handmade nature of CapyCraft items and are not considered defects.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.

Orders

Once an order is placed, you will receive an order confirmation via email.

We reserve the right to:

  • Refuse or cancel any order at our discretion
  • Cancel orders if payment is not successfully processed
  • Contact you if there are issues with your order details
  • If an order is cancelled by Capy, a full refund will be issued.

Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are listed in NZD (New Zealand Dollars) unless stated otherwise.
  • We reserve the right to change prices at any time. However, confirmed orders will not be affected.
  • Payment must be received in full before orders are processed and shipped.

Shipping

  • Shipping is available within New Zealand only (at this time).
  • Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary depending on NZ Post or external delays.
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by postal services, weather events, or circumstances beyond our control.
  • Risk of loss or damage passes to the customer once the order has been handed to the courier.

Returns & Refunds

  • Due to the handmade nature of our products, we do not accept returns or refunds for change of mind.
  • Refunds or replacements may only be offered if:
  • The item has a proven manufacturing fault or material issue
  • The issue is reported within a reasonable time after delivery
  • In such cases, we may request photos or evidence before assessing the issue.
  • Return shipping costs may be the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed.

Product Disclaimer

  • Each item is handmade, meaning:
  • Minor imperfections or variations may occur
  • Colours may appear slightly different depending on screen settings
  • Items should be handled with care, as they may be delicate
  • We are not responsible for damage caused by misuse or normal wear and tear.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, CapyCraft is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from the use of our products or services.

Third-Party Services

We use third-party providers such as:

  • Payment processors
  • Shipping companies (e.g. NZ Post)
  • E-commerce platforms (e.g. Big Cartel)

We are not responsible for issues arising from these third-party services.
